Ashoka-US

Ashoka-US focuses on finding future leading social entrepreneurs and supporting the success of Ashoka Fellows based in the USA. It is co-located with Ashoka Global Headquarters in Arlington, VA. It was launched in the fall of 2000 with the objectives to:

• Identify and support emerging leading social entrepreneurs with innovative ideas for solving entrenched social problems in the US and abroad
• Create the premier network for social innovation in the US
• Fosters collaboration among Ashoka Fellows in and beyond the US
• Accelerate our network’s potential for effecting social change

The key to Ashoka’s success is our ability to find only the highest quality social entrepreneurs with the most powerful new ideas, and the rigorous selection process is its cornerstone.
